Our story
A small lab and one fixed idea
Three years ago we started out making wellness and personal-care products. The path changed when Andrés Correa, our founder, met Alejandro González, a hotel entrepreneur who operates more than 15 hotels in Colombia.
Alejandro backed the project and brought what only operating experience gives you: what a hotel and its guests really need, from the product to the logistics. That's how Materia Prima got into hospitality, and from there we keep creating brands.
Today we are a house of four brands for hospitality, wellness and scenting, with the whole process in-house. Each one exists because we saw a guest moment no one was solving; all of them come from the same method, Estudio Materia: discover, ideate, create, make it real.
